Rebar foreman — City of Emporia

Join our team: we are hiring a rebar foreman in City of Emporia, Virginia. You will be based on a commercial tower construction site. On a typical shift you will keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length. You should have: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules $160 per day, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
