Day-to-day duties: • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance Requirements: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance Rotating shifts.
