Refrigeration and AC mechanic — Maries County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC mechanic in Maries County, Missouri. You will be based at a food processing plant. On a typical shift you will check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge; pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture; wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays; read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets. Ideal candidate: • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns Part-time with flexible hours.
