Aluminium TIG welder wanted in Eaton County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Eaton County, Michigan. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Day-to-day duties: • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding What we are looking for: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
