Concrete pump mate wanted in Macon County

Join our team: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Macon County, Georgia. You will work in a residential housing project. Day to day you will screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer. Ideal candidate: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $150 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
