Immediate opening: production welder (Louisiana)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a production welder in LaSalle Parish, Louisiana. You will work at an automobile body shop. You should have: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding You will read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
