Ideal candidate: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight You will prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; carry out 6G pipe welds where required. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours.
