Join our team: we are hiring a hoist operator in Barnwell County, South Carolina. On the job you will handle: • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines What we are looking for: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Pay around $2,500 per month, based on your experience.
