Now hiring: we are hiring a nursery worker in Jefferson County, Mississippi. You will be based in a botanical garden. The role involves: • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers Requirements: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors Pay around $2,800 per month, based on your experience.
