Urgent requirement: kitchen steward (Illinois)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a kitchen steward in Peoria County, Illinois. You will be based at a busy restaurant kitchen. What we are looking for: • Basic food hygiene awareness (Level 2 certificate a plus) • Able to stand on your feet for long shifts • Punctual, reliable and hard-working On a typical shift you will sanitise crockery, glassware and cutlery to the required temperature; scrape leftover food off plates and pre-rinse before loading; top up detergent and rinse aid and check wash and sanitise temperatures; empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard; load and run the commercial dishwashing machine through wash cycles; restock clean glassware and crockery behind the bar. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $21 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off.
