Great opportunity: we are hiring a gypsum plasterer in Clarke County, Virginia. You will work on a busy domestic building site. The role involves: • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets Requirements: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • CSCS card or willing to obtain one Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
