Reinforcement fitter • Wheeler County, Nebraska

We are recruiting: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Wheeler County, Nebraska. You will be based on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. On a typical shift you will bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules. You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire 1+ years on the tools preferred.
