We are recruiting: we are hiring a CNC mill setter-operator in Humphreys County, Tennessee. Ideal candidate: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery The role involves carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters.
