Requirements: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear The role involves calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
