Restoration bricklayer • George County, Mississippi

Great opportunity: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in George County, Mississippi. You will work at a residential building site. You should have: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks Day-to-day duties: • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb Performance bonus on top of base pay.
