Requirements: • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Physically fit and comfortable working at height The role involves: • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate 4+ years on the tools preferred. $25 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
