Rebar foreman wanted in Muscatine County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar foreman in Muscatine County, Iowa. The job is at a precast concrete yard. Requirements: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) On a typical shift you will lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $4,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
