Gantry crane operator — Dundee City

Join our team: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Dundee City, Scotland. What we are looking for: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Strong attention to safety and load limits Day to day you will work out the load weight and the lifting radius; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer £3,100 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
