Shuttering carpenter — Bedford County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Bedford County, Virginia. The job is at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. On a typical shift you will hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish. You should have: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
