Join our team: we are hiring a godown forklift operator in Metcalfe County, Kentucky. You will be based in a cold storage facility. Requirements: • Accurate, careful stock handling • Good awareness of load stability and health and safety • Able to manually lift up to 25 kg when required Day to day you will log damaged pallets, leaks and faults in the defect book; load and unload pallets from trucks and shipping containers; read the load capacity plate and never exceed the rated lift limit; assist with stock takes and cycle counting; keep gangways clear and observe the site speed limit; operate counterbalance and reach trucks within the marked aisles.
