Tig welder • Berks County, Pennsylvania

Now hiring: we are hiring a tig welder in Berks County, Pennsylvania. Day to day you will strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle. Requirements: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
