Immediate opening: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Yalobusha County, Mississippi. You will work at a busy construction site. The role involves: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position Requirements: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
