Now hiring: gas pipe fitter (England)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Reading, England. The role involves: • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply What we are looking for: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders 3+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
