Now hiring: domestic gas engineer (Katsina State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Kankara, Katsina State. You will be based in a gas distribution network. Your main tasks: • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances You should have: • Driving licence for travel between sites • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
