Gas meter installer — Lake County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Lake County, Florida. The job is on commercial and industrial sites. The role involves: • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate Requirements: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing Rotating shifts. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
