Immediate opening: site safety steward (England)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a site safety steward in North Yorkshire, England. Day to day you will run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; update the risk register and method statements (RAMS). You should have: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
