Great opportunity: we are hiring a laundry presser in Burleigh County, North Dakota. The job is in a tailoring workshop. On the job you will handle: • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Give each garment a final press before packing Requirements: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Six days a week, one day off.
