Scaffolding labourer wanted in Crawford County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a scaffolding labourer in Crawford County, Michigan. The job is on a busy construction site. Your main tasks: • Fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner • Read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class • Tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors • Set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground • Install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts Requirements: • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
