Now hiring: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in Carlton County, Minnesota. You should have: • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols On a typical shift you will segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items; compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer; check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch.
