Crane rigger wanted in Bell County

Now hiring: we are hiring a crane rigger in Bell County, Kentucky. You will be based in a heavy machinery workshop. On the job you will handle: • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
