Fabricator-welder — Beaufort County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Beaufort County, South Carolina. You will work at a steel fabrication workshop. The role involves strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls. You should have: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety 4+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off.
