Fire and safety officer • Rockdale County, Georgia

Now hiring: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Rockdale County, Georgia. The job is at an oil and gas facility. Day-to-day duties: • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports Ideal candidate: • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $3,300 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
