Brick mason — Crawford County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a brick mason in Crawford County, Illinois. You should have: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Your main tasks: • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
