Great opportunity: we are hiring a scullery hand in Lincoln County, Colorado. The job is at a busy restaurant kitchen. Day-to-day duties: • Keep the dish pit tidy, dry and slip-free throughout service • Clean extractor-hood filters and degrease the walls • Help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room • Polish glasses and cutlery and stack them ready at the pass • Empty bins, take out the rubbish and break down cardboard • Load and run the commercial dishwashing machine through wash cycles Ideal candidate: • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers • Basic food hygiene awareness (Level 2 certificate a plus) • Keen eye for cleanliness and kitchen hygiene standards 1+ years on the tools preferred.
