Great opportunity: we are hiring a foundry operative in Lake County, Montana. Ideal candidate: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings On the job you will handle: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring 2+ years on the tools preferred. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
