Pipe TIG welder — Warren County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Warren County, Virginia. The role involves: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run Requirements: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
