Vacancy available: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Winnebago County, Wisconsin. The job is on a busy construction site. Ideal candidate: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Strong attention to safety and load limits • A good head for heights for tower crane work The role involves fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure.
