Pipe TIG welder — Calderdale

Now hiring: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Calderdale, England. You will work in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. On the job you will handle: • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard 4+ years on the tools preferred.
