Join our team: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Emmet County, Michigan. The job is on a bridge and infrastructure project. On the job you will handle: • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control You should have: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
