Gypsum plasterer — Washington County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gypsum plasterer in Washington County, Iowa. You will work in a refurbishment property. The role involves clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets; tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler; polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush; apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls; apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork. Ideal candidate: • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites Six days a week, one day off.
