Join our team: we are hiring a finishing presser in Glynn County, Georgia. You will be based at a dry cleaner's. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Day-to-day duties: • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts Full-time with occasional weekends.
