Escalator technician • Hamlin County, South Dakota

We are recruiting: we are hiring an escalator technician in Hamlin County, South Dakota. On a typical shift you will fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables. You should have: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
