Excavator operator • Ogu Bolo, Rivers State

Great opportunity: we are hiring an excavator operator in Ogu Bolo, Rivers State. You will be based in an open-cast mine. You will load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles. What we are looking for: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
