UPVC door and window fabricator — Wayne County

Now hiring: we are hiring an uPVC door and window fabricator in Wayne County, Kentucky. You will be based at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges Your main tasks: • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam 1+ years on the tools preferred. $240 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
