Fettler wanted in Pawnee County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fettler in Pawnee County, Nebraska. You will work in the melting bay of a steel foundry. What we are looking for: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings The role involves: • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
