Lift installation engineer — City of Colonial Heights

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in City of Colonial Heights, Virginia. Day to day you will respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators. You should have: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
