We are recruiting: we are hiring a commis chef in City of Leicester, England. The role involves: • Keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Prepare the mise en place before each service Ideal candidate: • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
