Tailor machinist wanted in Dade County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Dade County, Georgia. You will work on a ready-made garment production line. Your main tasks: • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $4,500 per project, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
