Great opportunity: tailor machinist (Nevada)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Esmeralda County, Nevada. You will be based at a knitwear stitching unit. On the job you will handle: • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line 2+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
