Immediate opening: LGV Class 1 driver (Illinois)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a LGV Class 1 driver in Massac County, Illinois. What we are looking for: • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel On a typical shift you will complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading; present documents at weighbridges and check posts; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards. 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $25 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
